Family Dog - Beginners

This very popular course covers the basics of dog obedience using a combination of positive marker reward based and concept games based training.

If you have taken our Puppy Preschool Program, this course will build on what your dog has learned, while taking their training to the next level. If this is your first class with your dog, this course will form the foundation for all your dog's training.

This course includes teaching your dog to walk nicely on leash, learning to stay while in a sit and a down, coming when called, impulse control, not jumping up, and learning to ignore various types of distractions. An e-booklet is included.

Prerequisite: For dogs 4 months and older as of the class start date. If you have a toy breed under 20 weeks, Puppy Preschool is an option.
