Practical Living - Intermediate Practical Living is a Life Skills class for dogs covering topics needed for everyday life. This course will concentrate on training related to regular day to day experiences in all types of environments. In this class, we build on the foundations learned in Family Dog Beginners and challenge our dogs to become even more well mannered so that they are welcome anywhere. It will also help prepare your dog for the Canine Good Neighbour test or for going into Therapy work if this is your goal. Included in this course are maintaining a solid stand stay, impulse control, appropriate meet and greet, sending them to their bed, coming away from a distraction, backing out of the way, doorway etiquette, emergency stays and more. An e-booklet is included. Prerequisite: Family Dog Beginners or equivalent group obedience class taken elsewhere. If you took an equivalent class elsewhere, we will assess skill level at lesson 1. Course Fee: $225.00 (+ taxes) Length: 6 weeks Date⇧TimeLocationTrainerStatus Select Apr 14, 2021 Wednesdays at 8:00 pm ajax 889 Westney Road, Ajax Lynda & AngelaRegistration Closed Select Apr 26, 2021 Mondays at 8:00 pm (no class May 24) ajax 889 Westney Road, Ajax Kristi & TabiRegistration Closed Select Apr 27, 2021 Tuesdays at 8:00 pm the beach 975 Kingston Road (west of Victoria Park) Susan & Anette1 Spot Left Select May 1, 2021 Saturdays at 11:00 am (no class May 22) the beach 975 Kingston Road (west of Victoria Park) Jana & Kate1 Spot Left Select May 20, 2021 Thursdays at 8:00 pm ajax 889 Westney Road, Ajax Lynda & Jason1 Spot Left Select Jun 12, 2021 Saturdays at 11:00 am (no class July 3) ajax 889 Westney Road, Ajax Hilda & Sandra Select Jul 7, 2021 Wednesdays at 8:00 pm ajax 889 Westney Road, Ajax Lynda & Angela Select Jul 26, 2021 Mondays at 8:00 pm (no class Aug 2) ajax 889 Westney Road, Ajax Kristi & Tabi
